Every Thursday we get together at the church and sew. It is so nice during the dark winters to have somewhere to go and learn the wonderful skill of sewing. I have learned a ton and we have done some great projects. Right now we are working on an Alaska themed quilt where we all pick a subject we want and then make 24 quilt squares that have to do with that topic and then we have a big exchange of the squares (and a yummy potluck) and we make a quilt. Last year we did the same idea only with shoes. It turned out SO cute as you can see. I am not going to tell you what square I did cause its the worst one on there!!! We have started a really cute blog to feature all our sewing projects! the address is http://sewmanychurchladies.blogspot.com/ if you want to take a look!
